Agba (Gossweilerodendron balsamiferum), also known as tola, is a lightweight to medium-weight tropical hardwood native to West and Central Africa. It is pale yellow to light brown in colour, with a straight to slightly interlocked grain and a coarse texture. Agba is relatively easy to machine, glue and finish, and offers good dimensional stability. Although it has moderate durability and limited resistance to decay and insect attack, it is valued for its workability and ease of handling.

In the timber industry, Agba is commonly used for interior joinery, furniture, cabinetry, mouldings, veneers and plywood manufacture. Its light weight and stability also make it suitable for panelling, shop fittings and general carpentry. While it is not typically used for exposed exterior applications without preservative treatment, Agba remains a popular choice for decorative interior products and non-structural uses where a clean finish and good machining characteristics are important.
